My Favorite Men

I bought some AMAZING fabric at last years Creative Festival, and it was hung (quite poorly) by me in my old house. I have since purchased a staple gun, and framing things has become so much easier!

I had two "canvas stretchers" (I just uses them as frames for whatever though) lying around, so I thought I would finally frame this fabric right so I can hang it up in my new place.

Check it out.

I'll add a picture of them on my wall once they go up! Can't wait. They are so Handsome ;)

Inspired by Willow!

I'll start off this post by saying, I love wiener dogs. They are my favorite type of dog for sure; I just love 'em. My older sister (the lucky butt) just got a wiener dog a few weeks ago and named her Willow.

Inspired by the new little cutie, I made an embrodery of a little Dachshund and a Giraffe in love.

close up.

And here is a pic of the cute puppy that I finally get to meet on in two weekends (let the countdown begin!)

Cutest. Dog. Ever.

An easy earing holder

This new years I made a few resolutions, some more realistic then others, but one was to wear more dangly earrings. With that came the purchase of a lot more earrings (and a successful resolution!) To hold all these awesome new earrings I made an earring holder. It was super easy, but I love how it turned out.

Its just a canvas frame from a local art store, and I pulled very thin fabric around it and staple gunned it to the back of the frame. Check it out.

All done with my necklaces below.

That's it! My sewing machine is back all fixed in two days, can't wait!

August in India, and getting back to sewing

Hey There!

This will be the last of my summer away posts before I get back to my main topic of sewing and crafting. I have had a lovely and crazy summer, but as always I'm happy to be back in one place where I can settle in a bit.

I spent the month of August back packing India with a friend of mine. It was an adventure that I don't think I will ever be able to describe. It was amazing and overwhelming everyday. I can't possible share enough pictures to show what it was like, but I will post a few favorites to try and sum it up!

In Shimla with the Monkeys!

View in Pushkar

Ridin' Camels, no big deal.

In an auto rickshaw

At the Red Fort in New Delhi

JUMP!

The Jaisalmer Fort

In Rishikesh where The Beatles once stayed... cool.

I probably took 100X more photos than this, but I can only post so many.

My sewing machine is getting repaired as I type this, so hopefully I will have something crafty to post once I get it back! I have missed sewing sooo much!
